What is glove box?

Preparation

The following points need to be done before operating the glove box.

a. Check whether there is nitrogen in the nitrogen bottle, nitrogen should be replaced in time, and the output pressure of nitrogen is set to 0.5mpa.

b. Check whether the vacuum pump is opened normally.

c. Check whether the inner circulation of glove box is open (Purification column-I or purification column-II to open one of them).

d. Check the upper limit pressure in the setting should be +1 and the lower limit pressure should be 0.

e. Check whether the oxygen and dew point are normal (oxygen is below 0.1ppm, dew point is above -40).

f. Excess chamber vacuum pump should be in normally open state.

Operation

a. The vacuum pump should be kept open during the system work.

b. When the oxygen concentration in the box exceeds 200PPM, you should notify the equipment maintenance personnel to operate the system, otherwise, it will destroy the water and oxygen purification system.

c. Check if the case condition or regeneration is in progress before starting the cycle. If the mentioned above operation is in progresses then cycling is absolutely prohibited.

d. Two purification columns cannot be regenerated at the same time.
a) Before regeneration, make sure the glove box has been cleaned by inert gas (H2O<200ppm) to ensure sufficient supply of regeneration gas. The regeneration gas pressure is 0.06-0.08mpa.
b) Before starting regeneration, please make sure the corresponding purification column cycle is closed.
c) The regeneration process takes 24 hours and cannot be disconnected once it is performed. Adjust the pressure of regeneration gas to ensure the sufficient supply of regenerative gas in these 3 hours, and turn off the source of regenerative gas after the 6th hour.
d) The vacuum pump should not be turned off during the regeneration process, do not touch the top of the johkasou column to prevent burns.
e) Once the regeneration is accidentally terminated, please ensure that the regeneration and circulation of the purification column cannot be restarted within 12 hours otherwise the equipment will be damaged.

e. Care should be taken to protect the work gloves from being damaged during operation.
