Bacteriological incubator is mainly used in the laboratory for the growth of bacteria. It has a thermostat that maintains a constant temperature setting as needed. An accurate temperature can be seen on a thermometer fixed to the incubator.

What is BOD incubator?

BOD incubator is called low temperature incubator and are used for yeast and mold growth because they require low temperatures to grow. This incubator is called BOD (Biological Oxygen Demand) because low temperatures around 20-25°C are required in the biological oxygen demand incubator test, so not to be confused with the term, as the purpose of a BOD incubator is also the same as a bacterial incubator . SOP for bacteriological incubator

4. If the actual temperature in the incubator is lower than the set temperature, the heat indicator lights up and starts heating. Otherwise, the refrigeration indicator light is on, and the refrigeration system starts to refrigerate.

5. Adjust the humidity by pressing the humidity setting button. If the actual humidity in the incubator is lower than the set humidity, a humidification indicator light will be on, and the incubation chamber for humidification.

6. Because the humidity sensor is in a high humidity state for a long time, the humidity display value keeps high. If the humidity value wants to be accurate, bacteriological incubator should open the door after using it, to let the humidity sensor be at room temperature, and then can continue to use after natural drying.

7. Please unplug the bacteriological incubator when the incubator stops using.

8. To maintain the appearance of the incubator, please do not wipe the surface with acid or alkali or other corrosive materials. The incubator can clean regularly with a dry cloth.

How to clean bacteriological incubator?

What is difference between BOD incubator and bacteriological incubator?

Functional difference
The most obvious functional difference between bacteriological incubator and BOD incubator is temperature control function and disinfection function. Bod incubator does not contain moisture and sanitizer functions. However, Bacteriological incubator has both functions.
